At 20 years old, I directed an early merchandise experiment testing how a simple message, cultural timing, and peer-driven content could translate into real-world engagement.

As part of my advertising studies, I worked on an advertisement pitch for a real world client - Pizza Schmizza. This was done in collaboration with Olivia Koeberle, Bella Lyon, and Caitlin Ingersoll. The strategy was to advertise Schmizza as a cleaner and more dine-in restaurant experience.

Another in-class advertising pitch I did during my studies at UO was for ATA Gymnastics. We looked at how to advertise a youth gymnastics program to the San Jose area. This was done with Kayla Chang, Anaya Lamy, Ella Parker, Julianne Lilly, and Elli Dardis.

As a media intern with Team Esface, I helped develop “day-in-the-life” video content for a youth basketball summer camp, focusing on storytelling and audience connection. I led the scripting and creative direction, working closely with a videographer to bring each concept to life on-site. My role centered on shaping the narrative—deciding how to tell each story in a way that felt authentic and engaging. I also produced original music for the videos, using sound to influence tone, pacing, and emotional impact. This experience strengthened my understanding of how storytelling, visuals, and music work together to create content that resonates with audiences.

At Thunderegg Records, I led the initial outreach to local artists, connecting with bands and scheduling meetings to understand their intentions, story, and how far they wanted to go in the local music scene of Eugene Oregon. When there was mutual interest between the bands and the label, I moved forward with recruiting and developing those artists. This meant helping shape them into distinct and marketable brands. I worked closely with talent to define their sound, image, and audience, then built out small brand teams to support their growth across content, promotion, and live events. I also focused on positioning each artist strategically—thinking through how they should show up on social platforms, where their audiences were most active, and how to create a consistent identity that would resonate. This experience strengthened my ability to identify talent, build relationships, and translate individual voices into compelling, audience-driven brands.

In addition to recruiting artists, I also focused on building out the teams that supported them. I identified and recruited students to join brand teams around each artist, looking for individuals with strengths in areas like marketing, content creation, and event promotion. To support this process, I created a PowerPoint presentation used by the label as a backdrop for classroom recruitment of both bands and team members. I led outreach and conversations with potential team members, ensuring alignment between their interests and the needs of each artist. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate a vision, attract the right talent, and build collaborative teams that could execute on brand strategy and campaign goals.

When my professors in college asked me what I saw myself doing in life I told them one dream I had was to work on a film score. Through the film club on my university's campus I was able to land my first gig with a short student film. This was a six track project with collaboration from my high school friends Max Joyce, Zackary Wilhite, and Chris Fong.

From the people I met working on JamieE, I got recruited to produce music for another film. This film, however, would need an even large soundtrack for its longer run time. This project was ten tracks with more collaboration from Max Joyce, Zackary Wilhite, and Lucia Lilac.

When I first started pushing buttons in Fl Studios the TV in the living room was playing the 1978 film Halloween. That film has since been the genesis of the sound I make. When I actually landed a gig to put together music for a student horror film I had more fun with it than I needed to. This was a three track project with all the spooky retro tunes you could enjoy.
